I found a composition.
It was beautiful.
I was inspired and couldn't hold back the splendor that exploded within my mind.
I practiced hard, the images seeping from my brain, falling gingerly down my arm and dripping from my fingertips onto the canvas.
I found the shapes more than satisfactory, and I added color. The colors that swirled in my head.
Once completed after a hard, patient toil of time consumption, I sat back and observed the mass of creativity that had spilled from my mind.
I'd drawn a picture.

I loved that picture.
I know it wasn't as skilled or detailed as professionals.
But I loved the ideas and the creativity. I loved the progress. I loved what I did.
I wanted to show others.
I wanted them to feel that same inspirational splash that I did.

Someone was offended by my creative ideas.
They ignored the true image, the shared inspiration.
They only saw the one idea ad disagreed.
They tried to shut me down.

The splendid colors are now dull grays, blacks, and rusted browns.
Cobwebs filled the corners.
Cracks within the canvas pop out at me and show that the inspiration is broken.
A small candle sits in the middle of the room.
It's light is small, but reveals so much.

I see a glimmer in the far corner.
I reach out to it.

It's small.
But it's there.
That lone puzzle-piece just waiting to be added to it's collection.

That's when I spot the others.
Like diamonds, they glimmer in the dimming light.
A quickly gather them up and strive to put them together.

They spell out something....

"Don't let one bring you down when others admire your greatness."

Then the colors come seeping in once more.
I dunno.
