Prayer of the Sanghuli

They're cursed with the dullness of hide, we bask in the blessing or our given colors.
They wallow in their power and pride, Humility cleansed us with respect of others.
They bask in the muck of chaos and death, We hide in tranquility and life.
They seek to control until their last breath, we believe in equality and avoid strife.
Though they have trinkets and items of value, we have our brothers and sisters and kin.
They are unaware, they have no clue; that their evolution will not proceed.
They've abused their chance, and now they suffer because of their violence and greed.
Noble, humble, loyal they're called. They think they're so "elite".
We've seen, and we've known of the lies. They're incomplete.
They were birthed as Sangheili, but we have ascended into Sanghuli.
We cherish our blessing of evolution, we praise the creature from the sky.
They are the "Fallen".
We are the "Ascended".
