Timber

Remember this?: Ninja Doodlez

His name is Timber. He was created by a group of monks from the slumbering core of an ancient alien life form. His sole purpose was to acquire knowledge for the monks and keep them in tune with the outside world because they never left their home.
He was the one who found the Ninja as a baby outside the monk monastery and notified the monks.
He was very "motherly" and loving towards the Ninja even when he became a man.
It was believed that it was his dedication to the Ninja which kept him from going rampant and dying.
When the Monastery was attacked, Timber was the one who lead Ninja to safety before his core was shattered by the enemy.
In this picture, Timber is standing defiant to the enemy mere miliseconds before his destruction.
The Ninja never forgot Timber, but he left his existence in the past and moved on with his life...

... but Timber was never gone.
His core may have been shattered, but the pieces were still active.

Most of the pieces spent a careful amount of years trying to put itself back together. The process was long and slow and may still be in progress even today.

One piece returned to the place of which it had come from, awakening the ancient life form that it had been created from

Now here's the strange part...
Another piece found it's way into a cereal bowl and was eaten by a pregnant woman.
The result of this was her child having two minds and an uncanny love for the color green...
