Warriors of the Frozen Winds

The Shan Gong Monks were a quiet, but powerful assemblage. Though they never revealed themselves, and were sometimes thought to be a myth, their honourable actions were well known.
Whenever prayed to, the Shan Gong Monks would hear the prayers within the winds and respond with an unseen manner if the individual who was praying was deemed worthy of heart.

Dissolution's founder and leader, The Ninja, was placed as a baby at the door step of the Shan Gong and was discovered by their AI, Timber, who took an immediate love towards the child.
The monks usually never take in outsiders, so it is a mystery to why they accepted this baby into the brotherhood. There were only six monks at the time, the Ninja would have been the seventh if he had reached the ceremonial age before the destruction of Shan Gong.

The destruction of Shan Gong was what caused the extinction of the Shan Gong monks, and also the rise of Ninja.

It was said that a past student of the Shan Gong (who had gone rogue) was the one who caused their fall, while others say is was an army of barbarians seeking the Shan Gong powers and control of the mountain.

Only the Ninja knows the truth, but he is unwilling to even acknowledge the subject.
